My name is Crissy and this is my blog. I’m engaged MARRIED! to a wonderful Englishman by the name of Stu. Which I have no problems spelling, but I apparently pronounce incorrectly. Something I’ll try and have remedied by the time we marry, (never did, he married me anyway). I also have three children, who live with their father during the school year, but I get for summers and holidays.
I grew up in a tiny town in Pennsylvania, close enough to Hersheys that on a rainy day, I could smell the chocolate being made. I graduated high school in 1998 and promptly got married two weeks later. A decision that had nothing to do with anyone being knocked up, it was just a choice I made. Marrying so young is not a decision I’d recommend to anyone else. I should have listened to my dad when he said I should live with the guy first. But, I have three great kids from that time in life, which out weighs any of the bad.
After waiting 35 days I got my fiance visa and promptly hauled ass to London Heathrow and was married on April 23rd to a man kind enough to wait so long for me. We looked smashing, the weather was gorgeous (amazing for England in the spring and has been amazing every year since) and the day couldn’t have been better. I’ve never been happier in my life.
I like gimlets, home-made baked nachos, a good book, great music and cuddling with Stu.
